Hi all,
10 days ago I ordered a Cal. King, Ultimate Dreams Eurotop Latex Mattress. It was manufactured on 7/1, delivered on 7/3, and on 7/5 we unwrapped the mattress and set it on the bed frame.
Immediately I saw a problem. The latex in the pillow-top is two different viscosity’s (6 & 8 on the company’s scale), and overlapped one another under the zip-up pillow-top. I unzipped the top to reposition the latex and found one corner, of the one of the latex inserts was torn. Disappointing.
Then I waited for the bed to fully inflate. That was 30hrs ago. I’m still waiting. Though the latex now fills out the zip-up pillow-top, the urethane foam that makes up the bottom of the mattress has not on either the right or the left sides. In fact, in the center of one side of the mattress, there is still a gap nearly 12" deep between the mattress case and the foam base. Disappointing x2.
I’ve written Dream Foam, but it’s a holiday weekend and I haven’t gotten a response.
Having already sent me a mattress with a torn insert, I’m pretty worried about the quality of the workmanship of the foam sewn into the mattress case. I’m starting to worry that the foam was that is sewn into the mattress case is not accurately cut. Can I really expect as much as 12" of inflation along side of the mattress in the next 18hrs? It seems wishful thinking.
