Was told that I need an air pressure gun and nails to open the package as it’s very troublesome
That seems like a bit of a mystery, until we get the scope of the entire picture being drawn here. Why would you need an air pressure gun and nails to open a package?
They told me they cannot compress the package as it’s reinforced edge so the shipping cost is very high

That sounds about right, any spring support layer that has a border rod or spring clip supports around the spring support layer for stability, can not be compressed and rolled. It sounded like they wanted YOU to have an air gun and nails to open the package.
Thanks for your help, i ultimately bought the standard microsprings without the zoning and reinforced edges. Is it hard to use and air gun and nails to open the package with reinforced edges?

Many folks dont like zoned coils anyway. How is it all working out for you?
It’s ok but is it possible to use a tencel mattress protector as an encasement for the mattress material?
