I read a lot in this forum and tried out several mattresses in stores. I thought I liked the Tempurpedic Pro Adapt. I bought the Tempflow Elite Conforma because I preferred to buy from the smaller, domestic company. The Tempflow people told me it was close to the Tempurpedic–if anything a bit firmer, which was good with me, I want a firm mattress, my biggest concern is how sagging affects my back, I’m usually more comfortable lying on a carpeted floor than sitting in a sofa or easy chair. I’m at about 100 days with my Elite Conforma, and it has softened where I sleep; next to this area is a sort of ridge that is firmer. When I try to lie there I end up rolling down to the softer area. It will of course be a horrible hassle to return or exchange this bed but I feel I need to. But now I have so many questions again. (Probably I’ve already read the answers in this forum but I just can’t start over again.) If anyone can answer any of these for me I’d be grateful.
Did I buy the wrong mattress for me?
Is the soft area just from breaking in, or will it continue to get softer? Tempflow told me that theirs is unlike the Tempurpedic, which will continue to get softer over its life.
Is there a mattress that will be as firm in the long run as the ProAdapt is in the store?
@Tempflow
Thanks again for going over everything with me via the phone call and while this is a very unusual situation, as mentioned, I am confident that the problem was just that you ordered a mattress that was too soft for your overall needs and that the new version we are sending out to you should fix the issue completely. I say this with not only the confidence of seeing how Tempflow mattresses have held up for over 18 years with many customers at this point, but also with my experience and knowledge as a mattress expert and Doctor of Chiropractic who has actually developed the Mattress Checker App. to look at spinal alignment on Tempflow and other mattresses where I have been able to collect the data and actually measure results in a completely objective way. Many customers may have found the mattress you purchased to be on the firmer side, but for your needs it wasn’t the correct mattress for you. That said, this time around we are using the GripLock modular cover system, so we can increase or decrease the firmness right from your own home, so even though I am confident it will be the right choice for your this time, you can rest assured that we can fine tune it either way this time if need be and once again, there is no cost whatsoever. Anyway, I will be excited to see how the mattress performs for you and please update me here or call me at the 800 667-1969 number, so we can stay in communication.
Thanks!

Really impressed with the way Tempflow handles customer service. Hopefully @Rael gets their issues worked out, but I have no doubt Tempflow will make it right.
Sometimes a quick call or private exchange is all it takes to resolve unique concerns, and Tempflow seems to truly care about making sure everyone walks away satisfied.
