After a lot of reading and an extended visit to our local mattress store, we purchased a Danelli from Christeli. Overall we are happy with our purchase. They have a base that flips for a firmer/softer feel. We started out on the softer side as the TP Rhapsody Breeze is what the mattress compares to, and we found that a bit firm. After 3 weeks, we flipped the base just to make sure we were happy with the set-up. My husband prefers the extra firmness now - I am ok with it. I unfortunately called to order the mattress on a bad day - they were getting a bad snow storm and obviously wanted to get home before the roads closed, so I did not get to ask all my carefully prepared questions. I ordered anyway and within 1 week had my mattress. It was heavy - 2 boxes - but manageable for the both of us. There was no smell at all - the salesperson did say they make them to order and they are compressed only during shipping. We let it rest one day and then slept on it the next night (long wait). I would say that the ticking stitching was loose in several places, but with a mattress pad, I doubt that it will unravel much. Their “Sale Price” seems not to change - so don’t hurry thinking you will miss it. It went from Valentines Sale, to President’s Day Sale to St. Patrick’s Day Sale… all the same price. I also agree with you about their “sale prices” and unfortunately this is a common practice in the industry to create a false “sense of urgency”…
You certainly made a good quality choice … and congratulations on your new mattress
