Vacation Home/Rental Mattresses

Hi, looking for some guidance to cut through some of the research for my needs. We are furnishing a vacation property in the Poconos in northeast Pennsylvania that we will also rent out when not using. We need a king, a queen, a full and a twin mattress. I am a large person (6’3" 275 lbs). My partner and I both prefer softer mattresses so I am leaning toward some sort of memory foam hybrid mattress. Durability is important since other people will be using it the majority of the time, and we’d like to keep the price point around $1500 for a queen, since we aren’t looking to splurge for a super high end mattress that we only will sleep in 30-40 days a year. We live in New York so it’s a bit easier for us to go and try out independent mattresses.

At this point my plan A is to make an in person trip to one of the trusted vendors, Magic Sleeper, to try and find a good option and hopefully get a bit of a quantity discount.

TLDR looking to pare down my options a bit for a budget durable mattress on the softer side on the East Coast

Hi Davcjohn,

I believe speaking with @Magic_Sleeper would be a great idea as they can custom design something for you that will meet all your preferences at your size. If you explain to them what you are looking for, they will use higher density foams, spring support sets and you wont have to deal with manufacturers advertising and marketing fees, as they can produce something as a private label to work around those costs.

Best of luck to you,

Maverick
