Thanks to this great site and others, I just bought a latex mattress from Flobeds.
I chose them because they are within driving distance and I wanted to actually see and try the mattress before buying it. I’m glad we did because we had planned to buy the Select (2 layers + topper) and ended up with the Deluxe (3 layers + topper) and my wife got a much firmer set of layers than we would have if we had just bought via the internet.
Dave and Dewey were very helpful and knowledgeable. So far we are very happy with the mattress - best sleep in quite a while.
As you know I think highly of Flobeds (and Dave and Dewey) and I think you made a great choice.
While they have a good exchange and refund policy that can certainly reduce the risk of an online purchase … you were also fortunate that you live within reasonable driving distance and could test in person what most people are only able to order online. In effect you have the best of both worlds.
