Westin Heavenly bed

My wife and I slept on a Westin heavenly bed on a recent vacation and slept like babies! After researching this bed I found that it is made by Simmons. We needed to replace the Simmons we had at home, and I didn’t want another one after reading the advice on The Mattress Underground. After more extensive research on MU and visits to several mattress stores I made the decision to purchase an Ultimate Dreams Eurotop Latex mattress from Dreamfoam Bedding. I had contacted Dreamfoam to ask if they had a similar product. They said, “The Heavenly bed is a nice pillow top mattress. If you were looking at one of our beds I would tend to point you towards the UD EuroTop Latex Mattress. The bed we can build to the medium soft feel (comfort level 7 on our 1-10 comfort scale). It will incorporate the mattress feel of the heavenly bed and also some of the bedding they layer on top.” The bed will be delivered in about a week & I will provide updates in future posts.

You made a great quality/value choice and have a much higher quality mattress than a Westin Heavenly bed.

It will be interesting to see how your sleeping experience compares and I’m looking forward to your feedback once you’ve had the chance to sleep on it.

It’s been a little over a month since we got our new bed. It seemed too firm at first, so I thought maybe we’d need to switch to a higher comfort level. I e-mailed Chuck at Dreamfoam to ask about this and he said to give it about 3 weeks before making a change. We are now adjusted to the bed and will not be making a change. It’s amazing how much better we are sleeping. We wake up refreshed instead of dragging ourselves out of bed. We are very satisfied and we no longer want to try to duplicate the Westin bed. We’re looking forward to many years of excellent sleep!

Now that you are past the initial break in and adjustment period … it sounds like the comfort choice you made was “on the money” and it’s great to see you are sleeping well.
