Which side of latex?

Is there a correct side of latex to use on a Dunlop or talalay layer?(bigger holes up or down?).
I believe I read that one side of Dunlop is firmer than the other slightly, is that true of blended talalay also? If so which side is firmer, bigger holes or smaller?

With Dunlop one side can be a little firmer or softer than the other but Talalay is more consistent so it generally doesn’t make any difference and you can use either side up (or turn it over from time to time which can slightly extend the life of the layer).
