Hi there. New member here and have been reading this site to educate myself for a new mattress purchase. After some studying, I believe we’d be very happy with a split king, pocket coil with a latex layer along with a memory foam topper. Me: 170 lbs (snorer), partner: 210 lbs (GERD). Aside from these requirements, we have to be able to utilize a split adjustable base whereby each of us can raise or lower the top of each side of our bed in order to manage the snoring and GERD. I’m not easily finding which manufacturers make mattress which are split on the upper half so that they can be used this way. Can someone direct me to which ones make mattresses like this? TIA.

It’s great you’ve been able to do some research and taking your PPP into account to determine what you believe will be your best match in terms of comfort, support, and durability.
GhostBed offers a split king that sounds like it meets a lot of your checklist. The mattresses are, I believe, entirely separate and not just split at the top. While I know a number of our Trusted Members offer split king options, they are internal split encased in a single cover/encasement which presents a dilemma in your case.

Thanks for the Ghost Bed information. To date I have only found Satvaa and flobed making adjustible split bases.
I thought they were fully split so easy side adjusts independently. Now I am wondering.
