Getting out of my Simmons beautyrest that I have had for 13 years. Latex seems great. I tried some latex blends Serta - over at nearby Sears and feels very good. I think Organic 100% Latex, organic cotton and wool topper sounds very cool, green, and will not shorten my lifespan with chemicals, however it may not be necessary with so many great latex options.
Any experience with foam sweet foam? https://www.foamsweetfoam.com/
I live in Long Beach, CA - they are my nearest latex mattress company.
I can make the drive also to https://www.flexuscomfort.com/
or just try options there and buy from the best online retailer to maximize dollar value?
I like a firm mattress, weigh 185lbs, side sleeper and wife is 155-160lbs back sleeper and prefers firm to extra firm.
Hi isoglut,
I would be very cautious to make sure that any Serta mattress you tested actually had enough latex in it to legitimately be called a latex mattress or even a latex hybrid. What you were lying on may not be primarily latex.
I certainly think highly of Scott and his knowledge and experience and the quality and value of their mattresses. A forum search on Foam Sweet Foam will bring up more information and feedback about them although it will also include some results that include “foam” and “sweet” that aren’t about FSF. Searching foamsweetfoam will bring up a few less results but also won’t include some of the feedback about them that doesn’t include their website URL. (NOTE: They are now a member of this site).
They would be well worth a drive IMO.
I’m looking forward to your feedback from your mattress research and of course finding out what you end up deciding.
