I’m primarily a back sleeper. 6’1” 180 lbs
I’ve been using a zinus memory foam mattress for way too long unfortunately, and it’s high time I change my mattress
I have a king size platform bed and I was wondering if the ultimate would be better or should I go for the Eco with the bolsa upgrade?
Looking to have firm latex on top. Probably the Dunlop if I’m doing the ultimate.
Can someone help confirm if that’s the configuration I should be going for as a back sleeper?

Hi @rohilshah,welcome to the forum.Glad to see you are upgrading from the Zinus; you will definitely notice a big improvement.
As a fellow back sleeper , I do say you are on the right track looking into the Ultimate Hybrid Latex with Dunlop on top. Dunlop is denser and more supportive than Talalay, which works great for back sleepers who need firmness without pressure buildup.
That said, the Eco with the Bolsa upgrade is also a solid option, it gives you a more budget friendly version of the Ultimate. The main difference is the coil system, Bolsa coils are more basic while the Quantum Edge in the Ultimate gives better edge support and durability which can matter for a king-size bed.
If you want firm support with a little give, you might also consider:
- Medium Dunlop over firm coils slightly more contouring without sinking.
- Or Firm Dunlop over medium coils even more support if you prefer a firmer feel overall.
You can also reach out directly to Arizona Premium they are super helpful with custom builds and can confirm the right configuration for your sleep position and weight.
Hope this helps you dial it in. Let us know what you go with.
