I generally never write reviews but after struggling for the longest time to find the best mattress on the market, I felt I needed to share. I’ve had my DLX Premier Hybrid Mattress for eight months now, and I couldn’t be happier with both the product and the company. I shared a very detailed review on this site after the first month, but now that I’ve lived with it longer, I can confidently say this was the best choice.

The DLX team has been absolutely wonderful to work with. I needed to try a couple of different firmness levels to find the right fit, and they were attentive, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable in guiding me through the process. Their recommendations were spot on, and I felt supported every step of the way.

From the very first night, I noticed a huge difference in my sleep. I used to wake up two or more times a night, but with this mattress, I was sleeping straight through. I settled nicely into the medium latex foam, which worked perfectly until I injured my back moving furniture for a week straight with speed being the priority and not accuracy. With that injury that lasted two months, the latex wasn’t the best option for me, so I switched to the medium regular foam—and it was like magic. I slept comfortably again with no pain. It gave me the sleeping in a cloud feeling but still very supportive.

One of the best features of this mattress is its versatility. The zippered cover makes it incredibly easy to swap out foams, rotate, or flip them for proper maintenance. It gives you the ability to adjust your mattress to your body’s needs over time, which is something you just don’t get with most other beds.

A quick tip: don’t overlook your pillow! I found that with the latex foam, a flatter pillow worked best, but with the regular foam, a thicker pillow gave me the most comfort.

I truly believe this mattress will be the best choice for the vast majority of people. The comfort, flexibility, and outstanding customer service make this purchase one I would recommend to anyone without hesitation. This review is not part of any promotion, just hoping this helps others who are trying to make the best choice. As someone in their 50’s I’ve owned many mattresses and this is hands down the best sleep of my life.

Thanks so much for sharing this! It’s always great to hear from someone who’s actually lived with the mattress for a while. Your update after eight months is wonderful to hear/read. Totally agree that finding the right mattress can be such a frustrating process, so it’s awesome to hear you finally found your perfect match.

Sounds like the @DLX team really went above and beyond for you, and I love that you were able to try different firmness levels until you found the one that worked best, even with that back injury (hope you’re feeling better now, by the way!). The ability to switch out the foam like that is such a game-changer.

And your pillow tip? Gold! It’s amazing how much of a difference that can make, but it’s something most people don’t think about.

I was happy to read Christine3’s review of her DLX mattress because it provided me with much needed encouragement! I, too, have been searching for sleep and comfort for a little over a year and found DLX through this site. I originally ordered the Latex hybrid in ‘firm’. After trying another company’s latex option, I thought that was the way to go, but it ended up being too firm. I had decided to swap it out for a medium latex and at the last minute, decided to switch to the medium foam option. Best decision ever (or at least I hope so).

I truly LOVE having the option to change out the top layer: one time during the 120 day trial at no additional cost, and you do not need to return the first one; so I essentially have two different beds if my needs change. It might be too soon to tell if this is the one that provides “my best sleep ever”, but it definitely looks promising: I am not as restless and I don’t feel the need to get out of bed after 4 or 5 hours and go sleep in a chair!

I feel the same way. I have never slept better, and the ability to swap foams makes all the difference.
