Best stain protector for latex mattress

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for a simple cotton mattress stain protector for my queen Flexus QUADRA-Flex mattress - something to go between the zip-off mattress cover and my fitted bed sheet. I know mattress covers on latex can risk being too tight and can cause a drum effect on the latex, making it firmer. The mattress comes in a wool zip-off cover, but the Flexus owner said it isn’t washable.

Does anyone have a recommendation on a stain protector cover that’s comfortable and stretchy enough to fit over a latex mattress and not cause the drum effect? Thanks for any help and info!

You should check out the one we carry - I think you would love it! The material is a thick organic cotton with a four-way stretch, with an elastic all around for a snug fit (up to 15" pocket depth). And most importantly, it won’t effect the feel of your mattress while still protecting from stains. If you aren’t in Canada, you can get a similar one from online retailer Obasan, or perhaps another member will have one that they can also recommend!
