I’m looking to leverage your experience and knowledge for feedback on my planned material selections based on my sleep profile. I’m 5’10" and 175 lbs and will be the sole primary user of this mattress. I primarily sleep on my back (85%) and occasionally on my side (15%). I’m seeking a medium to medium-soft feel. My current mattress is a budget inner spring which is causing me upper back pain and some occasional hip soreness. Looking forward to an upgrade!

Transition Layer: 2" Medium (#28) Blended Talalay

Sub-Coil Support: 1" HD (#35) Poly Foam
Mattress Cover: 13" Bamboo
Note that my intent would be to include both the transition and comfort layers within the mattress cover. I have seen some feedback on other discussions where guidance was provided to put the topmost layer above the cover. I am unsure if that guidance is applicable in this instance.
