Hi! I just received my DLX premier hybrid that I ordered in queen size. Does anyone know what their queen size dimensions are?
Mine seems much smaller than my old queen mattress. The space seems more like a full size. Did I possibly get the wrong size delivered? Or has anyone had the same experience?
I realize the question was directed specifically in the topic for DLX, but i thought i might chime in.
I purchased a premier hybrid split internal queen for my mother-in-law 8 or 9 months ago or so.
The queen was the standard 60 x 80. Fit on the bed frame perfectly and then the adjustable bed frame. Dreamfit shits fit nice and tight as a drum in queen size, with no issues.
Does it just “look” small or did you actually measure it, and the dimensions are off ? Usually, measurements can vary up to an inch or inch and a half during the expansion process, too.
@Daphnaj1 Thanks for reaching out, and we’ve just emailed you back. We’re looking forward to resolving this with you!
TL;DR For anyone interested, we take a lot of pride in our process since we handle the manufacturing ourselves; nothing is outsourced. While it’s highly unusual for us to ship the wrong size, mistakes can happen in rare cases (probably less than 0.5%). When they do, we always own up to them and make things right. Mistakes are costly for us, so we strive to get it right the first time. Plus, our 120-night trial is there to ensure you’re happy with your purchase.
Regarding mattress dimensions: traditional bench-made mattresses, which are hand-upholstered and sewn, can vary up to an inch. This has been standard practice since at least the 1950s. Also, keep in mind that foam mattresses with square corners may fit differently than those with the traditional 2-1/2" radius on the corners. This aesthetic is related to the tape edging process used in mattress construction – again at least dates back to the 1950s and the square corner is a modern appearance.
If your mattress seems off in size, we’ll be sure to get to the bottom of it and resolve any issues. Thanks for reaching out!
