Finding a new mattress

I currently have a King Koil World Luxury Lexington Firm- queen. I got it somewhere around 2013-2015 so it’s at least 10 years old. I loved it when it was newer and unfortunately they don’t sell them anymore. Not is there a place around me that sells King Koil. I have lower back pain and it probably started 2ish years ago. I think there is something going on medically but also think my bed isn’t helping.

I am 5’5” and fluctuate 150-160 pounds solo back sleeper.

I fell down the rabbit hole and don’t know what I should get. I want to get one where I can test and lay on the mattress for awhile but I’m limited on brands in the area. We have major stores like mattress firm, slumberland, appliance mart and a small ma and pa shop that have restonic, spring air, comfort sleep however they don’t provide a trial period like the big box stores do.

First impressions the mattresses that seem ok so far are the beautyrest black (big box store so has a trial period), spring air presidential serenity, comfort sleep cora firm, restonic Kensley hybrid firm (these are all from the ma and pa shop with no trial period).

I’m overwhelmed and not completely understanding what I need to look for. I do know that I have been liking hybrids.

Update:

First is a Restonic Pexytn firm. This mattress is not as comfortable when you get in, a little too firm but my back felt ok in the bed. Reviews seem mixed with the negatives that it gets lumpy as one. Layers are: quilted cover; .75 airflow fr fiber; 1 inch 1.5 density 16ild gel foam; .5 1.2 density 32 ild; 1 inch 1.5 density 50 ild foam; 8 inch middle zones pocket coil with 13.75 gauge in center and 14.75 head and feet. This is a double sided mattress. 944 coils.

My second one is a brand I can find very little on. It’s comfort sleep Cora firm. Feels good initially. Feels most like my current mattress. It’s made in my home state. I’m worried and unsure if it’s built for durability because I struggle to understand foams and such. Quilt system: cooling cover; .75 fr airflow fiber 80% rayon and 20% polyester; 1 inch 1.5 density 10ild gel poly; .75 1.5 density 17 ild. Upholstery layers: 1 inch 1.8 density 48 ild; nano coil layer; 1 inch 1.8 density 28 ild; pocket coil 14.5 gauge foam encased; 1 inch 1.95oz densities polyester. This is a one sided mattress. Nano count- 1386, base coil- 858, total coils 2244.

Just wondering if these are built to hopefully last and if anyone has opinions on either mattress?

Edit: I have narrowed down options to these two. There is no trial period once I buy. Opinions welcome on these mattress if one or both could be decent or if I should keep looking?

Keep looking
