That sounds pretty good; I am assuming I can expect decent support given that I sleep on my back or side (I have some minor lower back issues) without feeling that I am sinking into the mattress

Can the mattress be bent a little to fit in a small elevator?

With a firm HD core and a medium organic dunlop latex top you can expect decent support without sinking too much into the mattress. The mattress can be bent slightly to fit in an elevator.
