Glue seams

Hello.

I read Phoenix’s post herehere that seems to indicate latex “slabs” up to a queen size do not contain a glue seem. However, my queen mattress has seams in all talalay layers. Is this something new? A mistake?

I have to say I am a bit disappointed that this wasn’t mentioned to me by the retailer prior to purchase. Although I know the glue is (allegedly) non toxic, I CAN feel it through the mattress, as one side is slightly higher than the other on the top layer.

Just curious.

Hi ShopperGirl,

It’s actually the other way around. You may have misread the post I think you were referring to here but most queen layers do have glue seams. There are a few made from queen molds that don’t but these are the exception and are generally a higher cost.
