Hello, I am hoping to get some help choosing a new mattress. I slept on a purple mattress, not sure which one, for 6 weeks and noticed my back pain went away, so I ordered one, the purple plus, and after sleeping on it for a few weeks, was not satisfied. It felt too firm for me and I was still having back pain and tossing and turning due to pressure points at night. So a friend recommended latex and let me try her mattress. She got it from latex for less and it was a medium firmness. It was comfortable, the only thing is that I still noticed some pressure on my hips. So I am trying to figure out what’s best for me. I think I do want a soft mattress and something that will help relieve pressure points when I sleep and my back pain I have when I wake up. I am 5’ 6” and weight around 125 lbs. I don’t want to spend much more than $2500 and would prefer less if possible, and need a king. I also would prefer to buy from a company that has a good warranty and offers a decent trial period without crazy fees or shipping if I did end up deciding against it. Dunlop latex, which is what you got from SOL, does have a firmer feel than does Talalay latex which is our specialty.
