So my partner and I are looking for a new mattress, we have a sleepnumber that was adjustable via air that has fully created a dip in the middle and we have issues with the air aspect in general now and it causes us both a lot of neck pain/ shoulder pain as well as back pain and me pelvic/lower back pain. My partner says he wants a memory foam mattress and something medium more soft rather than firm however he’s a lot lighter than me (like 135 ish). I am 190 ish in weight and worry about the memory foam/ longevity aspect for support and mattress. This is the first mattress I’ll say we’ll have purchased on our own and not inherited from a family member. We both side sleep, I’m not sure what is best to look at, I feel like I have been deep diving so much on mattresses and really made no headway. We don’t have a terrible or fantastic budget for this mattress to be honest, we’re looking at getting another king size with about 1000 being the budget, any recommendations would be helpful, I’m not really sure what would feel/be the best for us support wise
