74 y/o 250 pound single sleeper considering a latex mattress. Currently sleeping on a medium/firm conventional innerspring mattress and using 2 3" memory foam toppers to get comfortable amount of cushion. The memory foam is wearing out and definitely completely compressing. I’m considering getting a latex mattress but question whether to go with a later hybrid or full latex mattress. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Our full latex designs outsell the hybrids designs 8-1 when you can actually lay down on them first in our showroom. It’s hard to beat the comfort of full latex. I would recommend doing 6" firm Talalay on the bottom and then 2" of Medium and 2" of soft so you can play around with the top 2 layers to see which is more comfortable to you. Talalay works better than dunlop for heavier people who also sleep on their side. It’s must more conforming and therefor pressure relieving.
