Latex Mattress for lightweight person

We bought a Savvy Rest latex mattress about 3 years ago. I have two soft layers and one firm ( all Dunlop). It has never been comfortable for me. The first two weeks I had so much pain. It’s better now but I really don’t sleep well in this mattress. I’ve tried a wool mattress topper but that hasn’t helped.
I am very lightweight (100 pounds).
Any suggestions on a topper that could help me? And a pillow ( I get a lot of neck pain now).
I am almost ready to get rid of this mattress and buy a new one.

Maybe try a super soft Talalay latex topper? Talalay often feels softer than Dunlop latex, even at the same ILD (density). I don’t know how soft your in-mattress layers are, but it might be possible that you can go even softer - I just bought the Avocado Eco topper, which is Talalay latex, 14 ILD. I’m heavier than you are, but it’s super plush, and you can squish it just by pressing it with your hands, so I have to imagine at your weight, it should still be helpful.

You can layer that with the wool topper if you want, see if that adds more plushness? You can try the wool on top of the Talalay, or flip-flop the combination and try it under. (That would probably be the first thing I’d try.)

I don’t know if you sleep hot or not. And how you feel about petroleum-based foams. But you could try a soft memory foam topper. At your weight, you won’t sink in too far, but you’ll definitely get a soft, cradling kind of feel from the topper.

What kind of pillow are you using now? Are you mostly a side sleeper, back sleeper, stomach sleeper? Is your neck out of alignment on the pillow - upwards or downwards? Do you want a firm pillow or something soft? Have you tried a memory foam or latex slab pillow with a little extra height at the neck?

I’m no expert, by any means, but there are people here who are - if you give a little more info, they should be able to make specific suggestions. The only thing I can suggest would be an adjustable pillow, so you can fine-tune it to exactly the height and density you need. I have 3 different adjustable pillows that I currently rotate between, each one with a different feel, but each one very comfy in its own way.

It might be that you’ll need to buy a new mattress, but hopefully you can find some money-saving suggestions here. Nobody should have to be uncomfortable when they’re asleep!

Based on your info I would get a 3” Talalay #14 if you mostly sleep on your side or the #19 if mostly back or stomach. This should improve the feel by a lot - 3" Blended Talalay Latex Mattress Topper, Save Big with DIY Latex Mattress Components, Latex Mattresses-Talalay and Dunlop, All Products

Do you recommend the 2 inch or 3 inch? I am a side sleeper mostly, I think. Sometimes stomach and back too ( I guess I move around!)

As a side sleeper myself, I went ahead and got a 3” soft (also 14ILD) topper. I tried a few out, and the medium (20ILD, if I recall correctly, so right about what Arizona Premium is suggesting above) felt nice too. But I‘m curvy and while I do sleep on my stomach sometimes, I spend most of the night on my side. I felt like I needed the extra cushion for my hip. And I just found I like the extra plushness of the 3” topper. I’ve only had it on the bed for 2 nights, but it’s been really comfortable so far! My bed has a solid medium-firm kind of feel, and the support is lovely. But maybe a bit rough on the hips/shoulders. So the topper makes it practically perfect!
