Thank you again! I actually bought the Pact jersey fitted sheet last night, so I’m definitely looking forward to its arrival. I didn’t buy the whole set because I use linen sheets that I love, but I find that the fitted one is too tight (like most fitted sheets seem to be). So hopefully this one works!
Do you like your cotton/wool encasement cover? I currently have a tencel material based one, which allows you to feel the latex more and isn’t as stiff/firm. But I have the option to switch to the cotton/wool one if I want.. the decisions never end lol
Last question! Do you ever sleep on your back? That’s the only reason I would consider a 2” talalay top instead of 3” because I need the option to sleep on my back sometimes. With a low back herniated disc, 3” feels too sinky and unsupportive for back sleeping, unless I just need to try to tough out the 30 day adjustment period?
Last night I slept on all Dunlop 3” layers s/m/f. While it was a bit too firm, it felt better than the 3” talalay on top, so I’m gathering data here- can’t wait until the trial and error process is finally OVER!
You make a good point – you really only need the bottom sheet to be in jersey. I hope it helps you.
I know I tried the mattress without any cover, with the cover unzipped, and with the cover zipped. I ended up keeping the cover zipped, although I can’t remember why, but that was my choice at the time and I’ve stuck with it.
I rarely fall asleep on my back but I find that the 3" is still plenty firm for me. I suppose a 3" Dunlop might feel similar to a 2" Talalay but I would ask the seller what they think. Wishing you good luck with your efforts! I know it’s frustrating.
