Hi pseudonym and welcome to the forums and thanks for the inquiry! The 9" organic mattress cover has wool in it. I normally recommend this company for a mattress cover without wool - rder.com/bedding-accessories/organic-mattress-covers-pads
I cannot find any mention of wool on this page, hence my thought it is a different cover from the one sold with the Luxurion mattress. Would you please check it? If it has wool there should be a mention?
We are currently sleeping on 13 year old Invigo Fresh 10" mattresses sold by De Courcy and Company (now defunct).
We have absolutely loved these mattresses from day one. Wonderful sleep. Still no pain or any discomfort, however, last year they developed noticable dips in hip area. I added a medium talalay latex topper from Naturally Nestled (also defunct now) and that helps it feel more level, but as already mentioned this year I am replacing the mattresses with (probably) your layers.
The only thing my sales receipt for Invigo’s states, is 100% natural latex in “medium soft”. They clearly have three layers. Do you happen to know anything about the Invigo Fresh and what “medium soft” may have meant?
We are both side sleepers and in range of 150-190lbs. To approximate the Invigo I am thinking to get from you, two medium layers and one firm layer, all dunlop (I’m sure the Invigo was not talalay). We will keep the talalay medium toppers we already have.
If you can share your opinion based on any knowledge of the Invigo Fresh, our sleeping position and weight, or both it is very much appreciated.
I’m sorry but I don’t know enough about that mattress to give you more insight on the similarities or differences in feel, but there’s nothing about your plans that seems like a bad idea, so I think you’re in good shape on this!
