Mattress encasement issue

Hello,

I have a mattress that’s not a standard US king size. Mine measures 72" (W) x 78" (L) with a height of 6". I need a hypoallergenic mattress encasement for medical reasons, but the nonstandard size is making it tricky to find one.

Most options on Amazon fit the standard US king size (78" x 80"), which is 6" wider and 2" longer than my mattress. The 2" length difference doesn’t seem like a big deal, but I’m worried the extra 6" in width might be a problem.

I’ve never bought an encasement before—are they usually stretchable enough to fit snugly, or would this much excess make it loose and uncomfortable? If you’ve dealt with a similar size mismatch, I’d really appreciate your advice.

As an example, I was looking at this one:

HOSPITOLOGY PRODUCTS Zippered Encasement - 78’’ W x 80’’ L Ultra Low Profile 6’’ Depth

I’m sorry but we do not make anything like that. Your best bet is to just tuck the extra 6" under the bed or you could do a Cal. King size which will be the correct width but you will have an extra 6" in length which might fit better, just tuck the extra underneath at the foot of the bed.
