I am in need of a new mattresse. I am a 70 year old woman, weighting 103 pounds and of course will need pressure point relief as well as back support. I do have allergies and sensitive to smells. Looking for something voc free etc. I prefer to go in the store. I live close to Pottstown and Douglassville. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I was thinking of the Meadow Zippered Hybrid Mattress but I thought someone on here said it was a little hard. I know they have a plush one so not sure if the person stating this was talking about the medium firm or plush. Thanks all

I’m only seeing medium and firm for the meadow. I think you probably do need a more delicate support type of setup. I know you said you like to try them in store, but I’ve got an idea of what would likely work well. Look at @DLX for a 14" latexlux with soft latex option. Basically what it is and what I think you’d like are a medium firmness spring, and a soft latex top layer. Their cover is also very nice and has some extra non toxic high density soft foam woven into it.
Basically a nice plush spring base with a soft layer of latex would give you the perfect amount of support without being too hard or caving in too much. Which you could also try a plush spring base from pocketspringstore.com, with a 3" layer of soft latex and one of their 11" covers. Of course you’d need some help putting it together but this is just another option that’s DIY.
