Need a new med-firm NON latex bed

Hi can anyone advise on what med-firm mattresses are worth looking at these days? I have an adjustable base, allergic to latex and have been sleeping on my tempurpedic contour elite for years. Sadly they don’t make it anymore. No idea where to start.

Tempurpedic Luxe Adapt Firm or Pro Adapt Medium

Is the firm a rock? Cannot have anything creating pressure points. Chronic pain here.

Check out the @DLX Premier Hybrid. It offers a unique sleeping experience compared to traditional viscoelastic memory foam, known for its durability concerns.

The combination of polyurethane foams and spring support in the DLX mattress is exceptional. I recently bought one for my 85-year-old mother-in-law who struggles with back pain and severe spinal issues. Since sleeping on this mattress, she’s found relief and is experiencing relatively pain-free nights.

The firm is softer than you would think. More like a medium. The APR Plus foam is very conforming. I am going to purchase a Luxe Adaot Firm myself. They also have Luxe Adapt Soft.

There is also Pro Adapt Soft. I dont like Luxe Breeze line myself because I dont sleep hot and Luxe Adapt line is more about conforming foam over cooling. I think they messed up with Luxe Breeze line because they emphasized cooling so much that the mattress feels too firm and coarse. With that said, try them yourself.

Luxe Adapt Firm is the best in my book. Go see what you like.

I’m going to go over and try it. As far as the breeze i agree. Same thing happened with mine. Ordered the breeze first then swapped it.

I wouldnt buy anything until you get to try Luxe Adapt Firm. Its that good.

Thank you, as always, for the mention, @Maverick. Typically, we recommend sticking with Memory Foam if you’ve had success with it in the past. We’re excited to announce that at the end of April, we’ll be introducing a version of the Premier Hybrid featuring a 3" piece of 4-pound memory foam. These are available for purchase now, so for those interested, please contact us to make a purchase.

Note: This will be different than a Tempurpedic where you sleep directly on the memory foam because our mattress will have quilting on the top that contains1-1/2" 1.8-pound polyurethane foam with the 3" 4-pound memory foam below.

Is it labeled medium or firm? I had a firm and it was a backbreaker and a medium is too soft.

Luxe Adapt Firm is labelled Firm, but it is softer than you would think. I see it as medium firm and luxurious. Very conforming APR+ foam. Id say 7.5/10

Pro Adapt Medium was softer….more like 6/10.

Go try them out. Dont pay attention to labels. I am getting the Luxe Adapt Firm and I like medium firm mattresses.

Let me know how it goes.
