Need Help Pointing in the Right Direction

Hi, Trying to get some unbiased input on a direction to go to replace a worn out mattress. My wife has sciatica is about 130lbs and a side sleeper (occaisionally back sleeper) who gets hot at night (and then cold - that time of life). We need a recommendation/direction to go for a mattress for her primarily. Budget is about $1000 USD. The other caveat is we would need to get it relatively quickly if possible. Thanks in advance!

Hi @3dGuy - thank you for the tag and happy to help the best I can with some unbiased input. It seems like you need something in that not too soft, but not too firm range.

My quick opinion with budget and comfort in mind would be to try our Today Mattress.

It uses a great 6" Pocketed Coil from TPS - has a good transition foam layer + 1" of Memory Foam quilted into the Organic Cotton panel. I know Memory Foam does have a reputation for sleeping hot, but with only 1" and it already being slightly compressed through a quilt machine - we have not had any heat issues. It is about a 7/10 firmness level and should be a good fit and well under budget.

Good luck and we are here if you have any other questions.
