We bought a 13" queen latex mattress years ago. The cover it came with adds a lot of structure and firmness to the mattress. Too much actually, It kind of defeats some of the advantages of the latex mattress. We’re looking for a replacement cover that will add less firmness/structure and more comfort. We want to shop Canadian. We’re in BC. Is this something you can help with?

We do sell mattress covers on our website, but the thickest we make is 12". We could have a made custom one for you, but our seamstress quit on us this summer and we no longer have the means to make any custom work. I wish I could recommend someone else in Canada that can make one for you, but I don’t know of any at the moment, maybe Maverick or Phoenix do?

Thank you for taking time too respond. I’ll double check our mattress thickness, but it’ll be a couple of weeks before I can get to it as we’ll be away for a while.
You might also want to check out Von Viva. It looks like they’re based out of Calgary and they offer a few different mattress covers.
I reached out to them several months ago with a few questions and they were pretty responsive over the phone and through email.

Thanks for the tip about Von Viva - they look promising. I’ll get in touch with them when I get back in a couple of weeks. FWIW, I also found a another outlet/factory, Nature’s Embrace, in Delta, BC that I want to look into as well. Worst comes to worst, I can look into swapping out one of our latex layers for something 1" thinner so the thickness would be down to 12".
