Still confused about what coils to get for diy?

Been doing tons of research…But still confused about which coils to get. Hubby is big, 6’2" and 245ish, all side sleeper, and likes the soft 3" SOL topper we have on our old Beautyrest that needs to go.
I’m 5’3" and170ish and all side sleeper.
On APM website, Bolsa are recommended for side sleepers, BUT, b/c of his weight, I have read that Ken recommends the Combi-zones.
Not sure how to proceed. Any suggestions?

Call APM when you get a chance

The Bolsa is a great choice for side sleepers however he might be too heavy for it. Our Combi Zone is great for heavier people but not for those who are side sleepers. Really you might want to look into going with a dual firmness full latex design. If that is something you would like to know more about here a link to our most popular latex model - King or Queen Adjustable Ultra Plush Latex Sleep System (Blended), #1 Selling Latex Mattress- Adjustable Ultra Plush, Latex Mattresses-Talalay and Dunlop, All Products Medium base cores with a dual firmness half soft half medium 3" topper would be advised based on your info. Call me direct if you would like to discuss in more detail.

Given the weight requirements, you might be better off with coils from the Pocket Coil Store.

Do you have the Texas pockets spring? How does it work for you? What is your weight and which one did you get? Thank you.

Hi, did you also get the Texas pocket spring which firmness spring did you get? How much do you weigh and how well did it work for you thank you

Glad to help you out picking the best unit for you.
Just let me know your weight and your sleeping profile (side, stomach, back, or a mixture)

Just know that if you take 2 TwinXL springs and put them together you will have doubled up the edge support in the middle which means the middle of the mattress will be very awkward to lay on. Basically you will each have to stay on your side.
