Twin XL Natura deluxe mattress protector on Size Twin bed

I’m going to be purchasing a 6 inch student latex Flobed size twin for my child. I need a waterproof mattress protector. I came across a size twin XL mattress protector, Natura Deluxe protect brand, online for half the price. So it’s $99 instead of $210 as a close out special. Would a twin XL mattress protector be a mistake to use on a twin bed? Thanks for any opinions.

Hi mommyto4+4,

Welcome to the Mattress Forum! :). Very nice and from Flobeds, one of our trusted members. Just curious, college student? or student bed at home? Sometimes different for some people.

The TXL will wrap around a bit, look a bit messier when tucked in, but will work perfectly fine. It’s really at most, 5 inches longer…widths are the same. TXL is 80 and Twin is 75 in length, width 40 in. for both.

Also, which mattress did you get at Flobeds, do you mind me asking?

Thanks
Sesei

I’m purchasing the 6" student latex bed (medium upper and firm lower) from Flobeds for my 9 year old son.

Hey mommyto4+4,

Awesome thank you, sometimes what works for a college student is not the same as how a mom would like it…this is why I asked, as the “tucking in / clean crisp look” is usually a higher priority at home than in a dorm-like setting…generally speaking of course.

Thanks
