Head’s spinning. Im looking for a mattress that is durable ( lasting 10 or more years) and best suited for a side and back sleeper. I’d prefer lower or no VOCs and am willing to,spend some bucks if need be. Im thinking hybrid ( hear they last longer) and have considered Saatva. Also liked the feel of Purple and yet to try out Casper. Any recommendations are most welcome
It’s lesser known here, but my favorite bed which i bought for my parents is the Nest and Wild hybrid. With their current coupon it’s under $1000. They use the texas pocket springs system, the owner makes his own foams with near zero VOC, and the cover is cooling.
To note, the brand purple is definitely not a brand most here would recommend for mattresses. They do have some very good pillows.
What’s your height and weight?
About 155 lbs. 5’6” in height
Okay. Then their standard hybrid would be great. Was asking because they make it with a firm gauge spring as well, just not listed on the website.
I recommend it because it actually is an amazing option for the money. Though i have no actual affiliations with the company, just really love the way it’s built and the owner Brandon who’s a great person all around. The fact they use a texas pocket springs base, then he makes his own foams and pre treats them for durability, then the cover being cooling, and include a 15 year warranty and a sleep trial for $960 for a queen after using the coupon is an amazing deal.
Of course there are many great options, others on this site have ones they love as well that would also be awesome picks. Im just another enthusiast here. Main thing i would say is if you’re going to want to spend in a higher price bracket, go with one of the trusted members here. Like engineered sleep, latex mattress factory, sleepez, backscience, tempflow, there are many here who have honest business practices compared to purple and any of the tempur brands.
