Hello our winkbed luxury firm bed is 7 years old. My back is killing me. I’m a back and side sleeper. We just tried a saatva microcoil topper but my husband’s back got worse and mine got better. We have an opportunity to get a new winkbed mattress 1/2 off and are thinking the firm might be what we’d buy. I’d like other options. Can you give recommendations. We don’t want memory foam predominantly on top. We’d do king split adjustable.

Happy to help! are you both back/side/stomach sleepers? Is it upper or lower back that hurts?
Lower Back but extends to mid back for me

I would take a look at the Helix Midnigth Luxe with ErgoAlign layer. The ErgoAlign layer is designed to address the specific issue you are having and although a bit more expensive thant the Winkbed, it will also hold up better over time and should be more comfortable.
