Trying to find a bed that is most like the Tempur Cloud Supreme that they no longer make

Hello!! I need help findin a king size bed that is most like the “make-up,” of the Tempur Cloud Supreme mattress! I have just sent back my fifth bed!
I had a pro adapt medium, Tempur bed, I had a pro adapt hybrid, I had a beauty rest plush Harmony, that was sold to me as a supportive bed, I had a Casper, dream mattress, and I just sent off a Foster and Stearn’s pillowtop firm mattress. All of these beds made my lower back, or the sciatica or the side hip area hurt after I would rise in the morning. I had the cloud supreme for 8-10 years and loved it , but eventually it started to sink in, so it was time to get a new mattress and then that’s when the total nightmare started! I had come into a “new century,” of mattresses and everything was and is different!! I feel like my only hope is finding a bed with specs like the cloud supreme!! That bed worked for me for a long time! I have a slight curve in my spine and I see a chiropractor when I can, so I need something that supports all of that and the Cloud Supreme did that for me! I am praying someone can take me through a series of questions or something and help me find a bed where I will finally be able to return back to normal. Thank you very much!!

Tempurpedic has a chat bot on their website. They said Tempur Cloud Supreme is most like the Pro Adapt Medium.

Looks like you already tried PAM. I would definitely check out Luxe Adapt Firm or Luxe Adapt Medium Hybrid or the Temp Flow mattresses.

Thank you very much! I am so scared to try any more tempur beds after those first two did not work at all. Yes, they did tell me that the pro adapt hybrid would be most like the cloud supreme, but they were very wrong. I thank you for your other suggestions! I did want to discuss with an expert to see what bed they feel, knowing the internal make up of beds, which one would most resemble the make up of the cloud supreme. I am getting really shell shock!! Thank you so much!!!:

FYI……there is the Pro Adapt Medium (all memory foam) and there is the Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid. I like all memory foam myself.

I was on the tempur website and there was a sale on Cloud and Cloud Hybrid (today only!)

John

I am not sure, I know I had the pro adapt medium and the pro adapt hybrid
That’s all I know. I know with both of them i sank too much. I thought I was going to be good with the hybrid but after a week or less it started to give way to sinking, but it was great before it started to do that. It was very disappointing for me. If you know of a tempur that would stay like the hybrid did at first without sinking, that’s what I need, that what the cloud supreme did, it did not start to sink, it stayed its shape. Thank you!

I would go with Luxe Adapt Firm.

John

Go with Luxe Adapt Firm because you wont sink down very much. It is very conforming, but firm.

John

I guess another option is Pro Adapt Firm. This is ever firmer than Luxe Adapt Firm. In fact, I feel that PAF is too firm. But you should still try it. Luxe Adapt Firm does have a luxurious feel.

John

Thank you, they told me that but it’s absolutely not true! I was explaining to you about that. It is nothing like it.and actually it was the hybrid that the guy told me was like the cloud supreme and it’s why people were liking it, not the pro adapt medium. The hybrid was good for a week or less and I was very excited and then it started to sink. I am not interested in those beds at all.
The other firm beds you are talking about, the two yiu mentioned, maybe could be an option. But at this point with the 6th bed coming up here, I cannot do much guessing. I have to know and be able to talk with an expert that I can explain what is going on with my body, age, that I am more or less a fragile person even though I am strong, etc. I do not want to just grab a bed. I came to this site to get some good solid, “scientific,” answers. I came here because I was told that the experts know the ends and outs of beds and would analyze all the situations to get a good fit for me. They is what I am looking for. You have seen the history of the beds that I have bought and have not worked. In the end they were sinking and not holding up, in one way or another. I was hoping you would be able to put this all together to visibaly see why those beds weren’t working and what they all had in common, but instead you are trying to put me back into a bed that was absolutely not working for me. This is very disappointing as I was hoping for a more in depth analysis. Also, with the luxury firm beds you were talking about, with the pro adapt medium, it was very firm at first and I was noticing issues with my ribs, but, however, that didn’t last as it started to sink, but with the from bed, would that eventually start to just conform and NOT sink in, but also not continue to be too much on the rib cage? That’s the question I have about your recommendation there, but other than that I did want to go deeper into things.
Thank you very much,

Jacquelin4.

I am a big Tempurpedic fan, and did end up going for a Back Science 2. Great for back sleepers….no sinking down!!! Back Science 3 is more for side sleeper because it has 2 extra inches of Hypergel.

I feel like BS2 is like a Tempurpedic but with great lumbar support. BackScience is also Tempflow. Talk to Dr Rick….he is great!!!

John

I think Dr Rick from BackScience/Tempflow can help you. Give him a call.

John

Tempurpedic has a reputation for getting too soft. I have not bought a Luxe Adapt Firm. I have tested it a few times in 30 min sessions. Not much sinking down. There is a 5 level zoned top layer where it is firmer at lower back and softer on shoulders. I dont like sinking down at lower back. I would only consider Luxe Adapt Firm and ProAdapt Firm. My winner is Luxe Adapt Firm.

With that said, I went with Back Science 2. The lumbar support is great! I dont see it failing anytime soon. The mattress seems dense.

Thank you very much! I will take these things and beds yiu have mentioned seriously, meaning the lux firm, and the others from Rick. I am a side and back sleeper but sleep on my sides the most and my right side the most which is the side affected.
I will get a hold of other website as soon as possible and got the app they suggest.
Thank you for the time you took with me and my situation, I will be back to ask more questions, I am sure. :pray:t2::pray:t2:

Jacquelin4,

You sleep on your side the most? Look into BackScience 3 for sure!!! Are you near southern California? You could go to the showroom

John

Hi Jacquelin4!

Welcome to our Mattress Forum.

I know how hard it is to lose a mattress you love and not be able to find the perfect fit for ages.

You may like the offerings from @PersonalComfort [their site] and well as @Tempflow [their site] and @EngineeredSleep [their site]

Each can speak best to their own product, so I’ll let them do that if they wish to chime in, but I definitely think you can find something that you’ll love just as much!

Thanks for adding us to the conversation Nikki! @Jacquelin4 we definitely understand how hard it is after losing a bed you loved.

I wish we had a solid series of questions that could refine your exact right mattress but I truly believe there are too many variables to even come close. That is where we see our product really shine - all we make are adjustable firmness. With every mattress there is 45 settings to choose from at the touch of a button so you can always find your own “Personal Comfort.” And if you decide the product doesn’t work for you - we have a 120 night risk free trial.

Beyond that adjustability, there is some really compelling data that adjustable firmness mattresses are uniquely equipped to address back pain and provide great support for your spine. We ran a survey recently and the vast majority of our customers who previously experienced back pain found relief when they switched to Personal Comfort.

If you’re looking for something that is structually the same as your previous Tempur Cloud Supreme, we wont be the bet fit - our products are not structurally similar, we use an adjustable firmness air chamber + a variety of combinations of Poly foam.

Hope that helps even a little, best of luck in your search!

Hello, John. I have a couple questions for you if you don’t mind? I did the picture for Dr. Rick’s analyzation, from his app and sent it in and Dr. Rick called me last evening and we talked for quite a bit and he said he is recommending the Tempflow bed for us. I have a couple questions about the mattress that was kinda of concerning my husband. One, is, is that Dr. Rick said that after he customizes the bed and puts it together for me, he believes that 98%, that I would be satisfied, but he said if not, that the way the bed is made with a zipper etc., that I could tell him what was affecting me and he could send me the materials, and I could unzip the mattress and then put the materials he sent where it would go on the inside material area. So my question is, since you most likely know about these zipper beds, do they work well, and are they great and dependable and do you fully believe in Dr. Rick and his mission to help people? I just need some kind of a reference since I have been through so many mattresses. I want to know if you for sure know of people that have been happy with his beds and if you believe he is a really caring man and genuine and someone who can help me like he says he will. I know you sent me to him, so I am thinking you indeed have total faith in him. But what do you think of these mattresses that you can unzip and add material? I have never heard of such a thing and it sounds really different, and my husband seemed concerned so I thought I would write to you on behalf of myself and my husband. Dr. Rick seems like an amazing person and if I just went on that, I could feel safe buying the bed. But to my husband he is just another person trying to sell a bed and will say anything to do it. So I would appreciate any feedback about him, his company and his beds that I could feel safe and confident in buying them. Thank you very much for your kind attention to my inquiry.
